About this coffee
Nicaraguan coffee is some of the best Arabica in the world, and this one doesn’t disappoint with a balanced, full, sweet body and a subtle acidity. You can expect tasting notes of cherry, Oreo cookie and fudge.

Coffee production in this region is a family business and this small lot farmed by El Pelon & El Volcan is a perfect example of the local quality. Unusually for Nicaraguan farms this is sold as perfectly ripe cherry rather than wet parchment, with only the highest quality coffee selected.
With a naturally processed coffee, you get complex flavours with a robust body but it requires the very finest of coffee cherry and a well-managed drying process to make sure the flavours are perfect. This coffee is testament to the passion and expertise of the farmers, hitting all those bold, strong notes with a wild underlying complexity. Ideal at home or around the campfire!
