This month’s Explorer is an anaerobic-soaked single-origin from Los Nogales, nestled in the rich volcanic soils of Santa Ana, El Salvador. Expect bold notes of orange, mango, and a refined whisky sweetness, all wrapped in a smooth, full-bodied finish.

Behind the Coffee

Los Nogales is the founding farm of the Salaverría family - legendary growers in El Salvador with deep roots in the Apaneca‑Ilamatepec mountain range. Set along volcanic terrain, the farm enjoys fertile soils, high altitudes, and ideal growing conditions.

This lot undergoes an anaerobic-soaked process at Beneficio Los Cruces, the family’s historic central mill. Cherries ferment sealed away from oxygen for around 80 hours before being pulped and washed—resulting in a cup that’s vibrant, sweet, and unforgettable.

Explorer coffees change every month and are only available in limited batches. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
