This coffee comes from around 800 smallholder farmers in the Aricha village of Ethiopia’s Gedeo Zone. Grown high in the mountains, it’s carefully sorted, washed and slowly dried on raised African beds. The result is a bright, floral cup with notes of peach, honeysuckle and apricot.

Behind the Coffee

Aricha is a small village in Ethiopia’s renowned Gedeo Zone, where around 800 smallholder farmers cultivate heirloom varieties at high altitude. Cherries are carefully hand-sorted, washed, and fermented in fresh water for up to 100 hours before being dried on raised African beds. The result is a clean, floral coffee with layers of peach, honeysuckle, and apricot.

Explorer coffees change every month and are only available in limited batches. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
